Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Digital StrADegy, LLC ("we", "us") collects and uses information when you use the Cold To Client Toolkit website (the "Site"). Questions? Email Doug@dougboughton.com.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us: when you post a question, comment or reply, you provide your name, email address and the content you write. Your name and content are shown publicly. Your email address is never shown publicly.
  • Anonymous usage counts: we count events such as page visits, lesson views, video plays, lesson completions and button clicks. These counts do not include your name, email, IP address or any cookie identifier. We skip them if your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal.
  • Information stored on your device: your course progress, last-watched lesson and the name/email you entered in forms are saved in your browser's local storage so you don't have to retype them. This data stays on your device and you can clear it anytime in your browser settings.
  • Spam protection: to stop abuse, we briefly keep a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address when you submit a post. It cannot be used to identify you directly.

How we use your information

  • To publish your questions and comments and to reply to you.
  • To moderate content and prevent spam and abuse.
  • To understand which training is most useful and improve the Site.

We use your email address only to reply to you about your question or comment. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell or rent your personal information.

Third-party services

  • Vimeo hosts our training videos. Videos are embedded with Vimeo's "do not track" setting turned on, but Vimeo may still process technical data needed to play the video. See Vimeo's privacy policy.
  • Hosting and database providers store the Site and its content on our behalf.
  • External links (Skool, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Trustpilot) take you to sites with their own privacy policies.

Legal basis (EU/UK visitors)

We process your information based on your consent (when you choose to post) and our legitimate interest in running, protecting and improving the Site.

How long we keep it

Posts and associated email addresses are kept while the post remains on the Site, or until you ask us to delete them. Spam-protection records are kept for a short period only.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, or object to how we use it. Email Doug@dougboughton.com and we'll respond within 30 days. EU/UK residents may also complain to their local data protection authority. California residents have the right to know, delete and correct their information, and we do not sell or share personal information.

Children

The Site is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

International transfers

We are based in California, in the United States, and your information may be processed there. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by our service providers.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
